Starting Salary:
| PATROL DEPUTY | $62,256 - $74,402 |
| DETENTION OFFICER | $51,218 - $61,211 |
- 2 Weeks of Vacation leave per calendar year
- 13-14 Holidays per calendar year
- 3.69 hours of Sick Leave accrued every pay period (you may use it as it is earned in accordance with our policy manual)
- Medical, Dental and Vision is offered at no cost to the employee
- Certificate Pay for Intermediate, Advanced, and Master Peace Officer Licenses
- All uniforms and equipment issued
- Annual uniform allowance
- All Commissioned Peace Officer's firearms are issued to include pistol, rifle, and shotgun
- In-house training for all required TCOLE hours provided at no cost
- Longevity Pay ($100 per year paid on anniversary)
- Kendall County participates in a retirement system, Texas County & District Retirement System (TCDRS). Employees are vested after 5 years of service credit. The county matches the employees' pay (1.6%) at 7% interest
