House Watch

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office offers Home Vacation Checks to any resident in Kendall County who will be away from their home between 1 to 30 days. The program is intended to provide our residents with some peace of mind while away from their homes. The Home check will take place as time permits and focus primarily on the perimeter of the home. There is no guarantee that deputies will be able to check the home every day, and it is subject to the priority calls for service. Due to safety concerns, there are some instances where we will not offer this service. Please review the guidelines below before submitting your request:

Requests are for any period of 1 thru 30 days.
If anyone has access to your home (relative or friend staying part-time at the home, pet sitters, etc.), we will not be able to accept your request.
If your home is under construction, vacant, or for sale, the home is not eligible.
