Back-to-School Safety - A Message from the Kendall County Sheriff's Office

This morning, the hallways of Comfort ISD are once again filled with the sound of students' laughter, and next week, Boerne ISD will welcome its students back as well. This is an exciting time of year, marked by new beginnings, fresh goals, and endless opportunities for our children.

But it's also a time when we all share a responsibility: keeping our children safe.

Please remember to slow down in school zones, watch for children crossing streets, and always stop for school buses with flashing red lights. A few extra moments of patience on the road can prevent a lifetime of heartbreak. Our deputies will be out in the community, not just to enforce traffic laws, but to help protect the precious cargo that is our future.

To the students, have a wonderful year of learning, growth, and new friendships.

To the parents and teachers, thank you for the love, guidance, and dedication you pour into our youth.

To our community, let's work together to ensure every child arrives at school and back home safely every day.

Here's to a safe, successful, and joyful school year ahead!
