This week at the Citizens Academy, attendees fueled up on Chick-fil-A, generously provided by the Boerne Police Foundation, because nothing pairs better with real-life training than some nuggets and sweet tea!

 

Then it was time to put weeks of learning into action. From basic traffic stops to high-risk scenarios and even virtual reality training, participants stepped into the shoes of law enforcement and got a firsthand look at the split-second decisions our deputies face every day.

 

This marks the end of an incredible academy experience, and we couldn't be prouder of this group. We're looking forward to celebrating their achievements at graduation next week!
