Yesterday, Deputy Jared Moore was awarded the TASRO Officer of the Year Award for the entire State of Texas at the Texas Association of School Resource Officers Conference in Corpus Christi. Deputy Moore is assigned to Voss Middle School and has been employed with the Sheriff's Office since January 2014. Deputy Moore is a Boerne Native and believes being an SRO is the greatest job in law enforcement. We are truly honored to announce this prestigious award and extremely proud of Deputy Moore for his unwavering dedication to the students of Boerne ISD.
