Citizen's Academy week two was a huge success. Our students learned Patrol Procedures as well as received a tour of Boerne PD. BPD's LT. Schmidt and KCSO's LT. Reser talked about patrol equipment as well as the functions of Patrol. Cpl Goudreau, Officer Ramirez, and Officer Alvarez with Boerne Police Department demonstrated a High-Risk Traffic Stop for everyone. BPD's Sgt. Meuth, Fair Oaks Ranch PD's Officer Gonzalez, and Kendall County's Sgt. Rutledge, Sgt. Hefley, and Cpl. Dudley assisted with teaching the 7-Step Violator process and assisted them with conducting traffic stops. Thank you to all the deputies and officers that assisted in teaching last night's class, without your knowledge and expertise, this wouldn't be possible. See everyone next week!!!
