On March 9th, Comfort High School participated in the Shattered Dreams Program. This program takes place every 3 years and allows the students to see firsthand the effects of choosing to Drink and Drive. Comfort High School SRO Tucker Webb spent months planning this event and preparing for the final recreation. This required multiple agencies to participate in order to recreate an alcohol-related traffic fatality that involved their fellow peers as well as a mock memorial for the lives lost in the crash. We would like to thank all the students and parents that were involved in the recreation. We would also like to thank the teachers and administration of Comfort High School for allowing the students to participate in this event. Thank you Kendall County Sheriff's Office, Department of Public Saftey Troopers, Precinct 4 Constable Brian Vaughan, Judge Pressler, KW Towing, Five Star Towing, Comfort Fire, Waring Fire, Kendall County EMS, Air Evac, South Texas Regional Advisory Council (STRAC), Comfort ISD, Schaetter's Funeral Home, The Manny Family, Emmanuel German Lutheran Church, Kendall County District Attorney's Office, and Army Medicine. Without the help and participation of everyone involved, this event would not be possible.
