Currently, Deputies are reporting that, as predicted, the wet slush is already freezing and the added precipitation is immediately freezing making roadways impassable.

 

At the time of this post IH-10, East and West are being closed and traffic is being diverted into Boerne.

 

We continue to urge everyone- STAY HOME unless it is absolutely necessary. Although many areas seemed to show signs of melting today, do not be deceived! As temperatures continue to drop during the night, those areas may form black ice which is far more dangerous than driving on the snow.
