Drug Arrest!!!

On Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at approximately 1:15 pm, Deputy A. Ramirez initiated a traffic stop on a silver Honda Civic for speeding near mile marker 535 IH-10 East (91mph in a 75mph zone).
 
When Deputy Ramirez made contact with the driver and passenger, he smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
 
After conducting a probable cause search of the vehicle, Deputy Ramirez located approximately 0.09 ounces of marijuana and 5 plastic baggies of mushrooms with a combined weight of approximately 14.9 grams, a scale, and a marijuana pipe.
 
Both the driver and passenger were arrested and charged with the offense of Possession Controlled Substance PG2>=4g<400g.
