Blue Santa To Drive Flyer with a Santa and a Reindeer

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is once again accepting toys and identifying children in our community to be recipients for the Kendall County Blue Santa Toy Drive.

The Blue Santa Christmas Toy Drive was established to provide families in need with assistance in providing their children with Christmas gifts that they would not otherwise receive. Once more, we are working in partnership with the Boerne Police Department and the Hill Country Family Services to help serve the needs of our community. Approximately 275 children were able to receive gifts in 2018 with the assistance of our generous community's donations.

Families in need can come by the Sheriff's Office and complete an application to receive gifts for their children this holiday season. The deadline to submit the applications is December 6. In order to help as many families as possible, we cannot fulfill applications if registered at multiple agencies or organizations.

We are also asking the community to help by supplying new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls from infant to seventeen years old, as well as gift cards from local businesses. Any donations can be dropped off at the Sheriff's Office located at 6 Staudt Street or at any additional drop off location until December 6th. The additional drop off locations in the Kendall County Elections Office, located at 2210 Fawn Valley, #100, Black Rifle Coffee, located at 101 South Main Street, as well as Access Storage, located at 105 Shooting Club Road. Apache Rifleworks is also a drop-off location and will also be holding a tree lighting event where you may go to enjoy a potluck dessert and hot chocolate. For those that donate toys, your name may be displayed on their Christmas tree ornaments! Apache Rifleworks is located at 50502 IH 10 West, Comfort. Thank you for your continuous support in this cause!!
