This week we had the honor of revealing the bricks placed in front of the Kendall County Courthouse in memory of Probation Officer Rusty Salazar, Deputy Carlos Ramirez, and Sgt. Matthew Johnson.
We also had the opportunity to recognize Cheryl Goudreau for her heartfelt support in honoring the memory of our Lost Kendall County Deputies during the 2019 San Antonio 110 9/11 Memorial Climb.
It's not how these men died that made them heroes, it's how they lived. Psalms 91:1 says "He who dwells in the shelter of the Highest will abide in the shadow of the almighty." Is it any coincidence that this is the 9-1-1 verse? In whatever troubles we face today, God is the place of refuge we can run to, He is our safe place. Without a doubt, God gained 3 amazing angels this summer.
